Frequently Asked Questions
About the Classes
What types of classes do you offer?
Fit & Flow Mom Club offers Mommy & Me yoga, Pilates, Sculpt, Barre, fitness, prenatal movement, mom-only classes, family events, and pop-up
experiences throughout Southwest Florida.

Do I need experience to attend?
No. Most classes are designed to be approachable for a range of experience levels, and instructors offer options and modifications throughout class.

Are your classes just for women?
Our regular Fit & Flow Mom Club classes are designed for women and mothers. Grandmothers, aunts, and women friends are welcome to attend. Dads, partners, and other family members are welcome at select family events, which will always be clearly noted in the event description.

Bringing Your Child
Can I bring my baby or child to class?
Yes. Babies and young children are welcome at almost every Fit & Flow Mom Club class or event. Each class description will note whether littles are welcome, whether child watch is available, or whether the class is adult-only.

What if my child gets fussy or needs me during class?
That is completely normal. You are always welcome to pause, pick up your child, step away briefly, or rejoin when you are ready. Our classes are designed with real life in mind.

Do children have to participate in the class?
No. Children may participate, play nearby, be held, or simply stay close to you depending on the class and their age.

Child Watch
Do you offer childcare?
Children are welcome to come with moms to almost every class we offer. Select classes offer nearby supervised child watch. Availability varies by class and location and will always be noted in the class description.

Is child watch drop-off childcare?
No. Child watch is designed to support your class experience while you remain on-site. It is not a drop-off childcare service.

Will child watch staff feed or change my child?
No. Child watch does not include feeding, diapering, or other personal care. If your child needs you, you may step away from class at any time.

What happens if child watch is canceled?
The class will still take place. If you purchased child watch and it is canceled, you may use the child watch portion as a make-up or credit according to the class policy.

Prenatal & Postpartum
Do you offer prenatal classes?
Yes. Fit & Flow Mom Club offers prenatal yoga, Pilates, and specialty movement experiences designed for pregnancy. We also over specialized events with sound therapy. These events are child-free.

Do I have to be newly postpartum to attend?
No. Fit & Flow is for prenatal, postpartum, and beyond. Many of our classes are for moms with toddlers and older children as well.

Should I get medical clearance before attending?
If you are pregnant, newly postpartum, recovering from an injury, or have any medical concerns, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider before beginning or returning to exercise.

What to Bring

What else should I bring?
We recommend water and anything your child may need during class. We recommend blankets for babies, and for all children, toys and snacks are usually a good idea. For outdoor events, you may also want sunscreen, a towel, or other weather-appropriate items.

What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. For prenatal classes, choose clothing that feels supportive and allows you to move comfortably.
